Independent Bookstore Day is a one-day national party that takes place at indie bookstores across the country on the last Saturday in April. It is a day to celebrate and support independent bookstores across the U.S.. This year we will be celebrating Indie Bookstore Day with a pop up shop and open mic night.

The pop up shop takes place from 12pm - 6pm and will feature some of Get Lit’s current indie authors and artists, as well as some new faces. This is a fantastic opportunity to buy and support local talent.

Open mic night features poets & spoken word artists, comedians, & readings. This adults only event is from 7pm - 9pm and may contain readings of some spicy material. If you want to show us what you’ve got, use the form below to sign up. Spaces are limited.
